by: daniel ...but years later I came to remember this time. --------------------------------- My life started in the dark. It started in the dark of my mother’s womb, but there I met God for the first time. My first memory is of darkness and silence and stillness. I had no thoughts of my own for I was not yet born to the world of life, but I lived. As to when in the 9 mounths of my body’s gowth this happened, I know not, only that it did. I was floating in the warm darkness of the womb when there was a change. It was still as dark as ever but their was a presence with the body that was growing there. Words were spoken—not as we speak in the air, but to the heart of the body that floated there. “I give you a choice my child,” the voice said. “Return with me to heaven now or stay and be born to pain and sorrow in your life.” I do not remember giving a answer but I was born at the proper time. True to the voice’s words, I have had from the start one problm after another. Before I even started school I almost died many times and one thing after another caused pain and sorrow in my life. I did not remember my first time with the Lord, but years later I came to remember this time. Now no matter what I undergo I know God is always with me and those around me and has been there even before my birth. 61 year old disabled vet, have had several times god affected my life.
