A Story to Encourage Stories

"It’s gotta be something good,” I thought. “After all, I’m a writer!

It’s pretty sad when you want to tell a story about God on this great new site, but you get hit with spiritual writer’s block. “It’s gotta be something good,” I thought. “After all, I’m a writer!” I picked up my Bible and tossed it on top of my desk. Without me turning a page, it landed perfectly centered in front of me, and open to Psalm 40, as if God was saying to me, “Need a little help? Read this.”

“Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders which You have done, and Your thoughts toward us; there is none to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of them, they would be too numerous to count...I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have spoken of Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great congregation.” (vv. 5, 10, NASB).

I got the point. The “writer” in me was unimportant. What God wants is just the simple testimony of His faithfulness, salvation, lovingkindness and truth. And that is the beauty of a place like this site. It’s all about sharing the “wonders” that God has done, the things “too numerous to count” that have been happening every day for centuries. Here is a place to share the stories of God with the “great congregation” of His people. So, here is my contribution, a story of God speaking to me, and hopefully to you. It’s not about me, or about you, it’s about Him. Unconcealed.
