My Testimony: Salvation and Demonic Deliverance

Several Sundays passed much like this one where the words of Reverend Tydings gripped my heart as hard as the grip I had on the pew I was sitting in. I walked out one Sunday, knowing I was supposed to go up front.

That evening to my surprise there was commotion in my house about something my sister had just done. Everyone seemed to be glad and cheerful. When I asked what happened she told me she was “saved.” I remember asking what that means and she told me. I knew then that was what Reverend Tydings had been asking people to do at church. My vulnerability was revealed to me and my emptiness yearned for this Jesus. The details are so distant now that I can only remember my dad handing me the telephone after calling up the Reverend Tydings. I answered, “Hello?” and I heard the all to familiar voice on the other end. This time there was joy in his voice. He asked me few questions and I remember agreeing with each. Then I repeated a prayer with him over the telephone, all the while tears flowed. I hung up the phone and my sister came and gave me a hug. I felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my skinny frame. A feeling I had never felt before on the inside. I was happy.

Years passed by and although I attended church often, participated in the youth group, and even evangelized with the church’s muppet and music group. I never read my bible for more than was required or asked during church, I never prayed. That feeling I had when I was twelve had long since dulled and the old vulnerable, empty, and hurt was again part of my life. The only thing I did consistently was to read the fantasy books I had developed a habit of reading. I’d often pass through book stores looking for the Tarzan books my brother David had often read. One day while doing so I came across a big white covered book with the title “Dragonlance.” The cover looked much like my brother’s books so I thought I’d give it a try and buy it.

I began reading this book as soon as I got home. I couldn’t put it down. I was drawn into this fantasy world and became acquainted with and identified with its characters, their unique strengths and weaknesses, their magic.

Dear Brandon,

You are suffering from demon and spirit infestation, plain and simple.
I have been through the same experiences, so I feel for you. No one can understand what you are experiencing, nor can they help you.
There is no human who can de-posess you.
You are going to have to learn how to fight the wild beasts just as St Paul did.

You have to come to the realisation that you have been beguiled and deceived in the subtlest way. Even sincere believers are being brought down because the church won’t accept that it is possible for Christians and God lovers to be demonised. The truth cuts and humbles.

The only way that you are going to escape your torment is to read the truth about your condition and learn how to overcome.
The deliverance path takes years and patient plodding in prayer. There is no easy way out I’m afraid. This is the spiritual warfare every human is going to have to engage in.

It seems highly likely that there is a calling on your life and if so you will come under the heaviest attacks because of it. The devil’s prime targets, are all those with divine callings.

Don’t be like other blind believers who think that reading around the word is wrong. Be bold and start arming yourself with practical knowledge.

The best books are:
Jessie Penn Lewis - War on the saints
Remarkable Healings - Shakuntala Modi

You need to adopt the following strategy:
1. A Prayer for protection and healing said daily before bedtime.
2. Daily bible reading in the evening to keep your spirit in fighting shape.
3. Techniques which result in your learning how to discern Wiles which are being presented to you each night in dreams and visions. How to “cast out”.

You need to be brave and understand that your fear will diminish once you start to understand how they are working to bring you down.
This will result in your accumulation of experiential knowlege which will benefit others.

Good luck!

Thank you Brandon. I am glad your brother and friends helped with the demons. Continue to bind Satan and his Demons to the dry places in Jesus Christ’s name. I am so overwhelmed with God’s love and grace.
Thank you again for your story.

That is an amazing story. It really shows how powerful those occult books can be and really suck you in. Too many people don’t take it seriously enough.

Very uplifting story.  I believe that music is also a negative influence and a usefull tool for demonic activaty.  But praise God for your deliverence and I pray that allot of people will realize that those kinna thing is a gateway for negativaty and evil.
