I was reading the story posted ‘God’ and it suddenly reminded me again - yes, there is GOD. And GOD is wonderful. HE listens to us and answers our prayers. 

For the little things we take for granted, such as electricity, water, food in the fridge, clothes to wear, money to buy stuff and countless other things. We should really count our blessings and thank GOD that we have more than what we need.

Our jobs, our health, our family, our friends all these are also blessings from the Almighty GOD. And I thank GOD for everything that HE has given me and my family.

To name a few, when I was a kid. I was honestly dumb. I was not good in studies and I was not good looking. But, I have wonderful parents and a sister. I used to get so fed up of myself, and say why me?? Why am I like this?? I was so scared of marrying someone. I was just scared of relationships. And used to think who would marry such a person like me.

My school life was bad, but somehow my college life improved. I made friends. One guy liked me, I liked one guy. But, was scared and not prepared to go out. College finished, I started my 1st job. I was so proud of myself. And, I thought wow! I’ll learn all I can.

Then I fell in love with the most caring man, my husband. We worked in the same office. I told my mother and she agreed, she listened to what I had to say. And she supported me in every way.

We then went out, it didn’t seem wrong. We talked and laughed.

I got accepted from my husband’s side and my mother broke the news to my father and kind of forced him to accept him. (Thank you LORD for such wonderful parents, thanks!) It seemed a battle which was not ending and then we got engaged and then married. I count the blessings that GOD showered upon me. I got married, had a beautiful wedding, with a caring man, and have wonderful in-laws.
